The main difference between aerodynamic and sieve separators is that the first divides the mixture of grains by weight, and the second - by size. This is the advantage of separators "Agromash", because the separation by weight allows you to select heavy, dense grains, more loaded with nutrients. These grains have high germination, germination energy and, consequently, high yields.
Figure a) shows how the grain is separated from partial damage to healthy seeds. This is due to the fact that the appearance of damage caused by parasites, infections or mechanical stress leads to a decrease in its weight.
When sifting, partially damaged grains turn into a fraction with healthy ones, because their size does not change. This is shown in Figure b). In other words, when selecting seeds using a sieve, it is necessary to understand that the number of rotten seeds in the total mass can reach 30%. And the destruction of such seeds is possible only by mass calibration, reducing their number to 2-5%.
Thus, the presence of a sieve does not mean that you do not need a separator Agromash. The best option is to use the screen and aerodynamic splitters and use them in tandem. Thus, you will ensure maximum profitability and, therefore, maximum profit!
