A representative of the Swedish company Sumab Energy invites you to familiarize yourself with the equipment for generating electricity and heat - cogeneration.
The company Sumab Energy actively cooperates with European equipment suppliers - MWM, Caterpillar, GE Jenbacher.
The company Sumab Energy uses in its projects used MWM, Caterpillar, GE Jenbacher units with a small operating time, usually 30-40,000 engine hours (about 4-5 years), which allows to reduce the cost of the project by 2 times! , compared to using new equipment. At the same time, all units undergo full maintenance by qualified personnel and are in perfect working condition.
Gas piston power plants produce electricity from various types of gas fuel. Power plants operate:
on natural gas,
biogas,
associated gas,
mine gas.
wastewater treatment plant gas,
landfill gas,
Gas piston power plants have a simple and reliable design, verified by decades of operation in a variety of climatic conditions. The electrical efficiency of gas piston power plants is considered high, in contrast, for example, to turbines and microturbines, and when operating on high-quality natural gas is ~ 39-44%.
This means that to produce the same amount of electricity, in comparison with turbines, gas piston power plants consume one third (!) less natural gas.
Gas piston power plants are presented in a wide range of unit electrical power from 800 kW to 4 MW. This is the main power range. That is, in the small and medium range, consumers can get almost any value of electrical power of an autonomous gas piston power plant.
Almost all models and brands of gas piston power plants in an extended configuration are capable of operating in cogeneration mode, that is, as thermal power plants. The exhaust gas temperature at the outlet of the gas piston power plant power machine is ~ 390 ± 10 ° C. This temperature makes it easy to obtain virtually free thermal energy in cogeneration mode.
The ratio of electricity and thermal energy output is 1:0.9, i. e. 0.9 Gl of thermal energy can be obtained per 1 MW of installed electrical capacity.
The saturated steam production coefficient of a gas piston power plant is 0.5-0.7. Steam can be used for industrial purposes.
